FF-7725 is a fluoride-free methanesulfonic acid type electroplating dumb tin additive, suitable for rolling operation, stable plating solution, wide operating range, uniform tin plating layer deposition, good welding performance, and can be used in various plating dumb Tin or semi-bright craft .
1. Applicable equipment and materials
1.1 Equipment: Steel troughs of polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC or acid-resistant fiberglass.
1.2 Heating/cooling: need heating/cooling system, Teflon or other acid resistant material.
1.3 Stirring: rack plating, the cathode moves 3-4 m/min, and stirring is not applicable.
1.4 Anode: pure tin anode, use PP anode bag for anode hanging basket.
1.5 Circulation/filtration: A circulation filtration system is required, 4~5 circulations/hour, and the number of filter elements is less than 5~10µm.
1.6 Exhaust system: an exhaust system is required.

3 Open bath method and steps

3.1 Clean bath, pump, anode, etc. with 10% by volume FF-7725 acid extender;
3.2 Add 1/2 volume of pure water to the cleaned bath;
3.3 Open the circulation stirring, and slowly add the required amount of methyl sulfonic acid;
3.4 Continue to circulate and stir, and slowly add the required amount of stannous methanesulfonate.
3.5 Continue to circulate and stir, and slowly add the required amount of FF-7725A additive.
3.6 Add pure water to the final volume, fully circulate and confirm that the temperature reaches the operating temperature before use.
