Wuhan, July 4 (Xinhua), Wuhan Customs Hanyang Customs 4 for Wuhan Fengfan International Trade Co., Ltd. issued the first China-Serbia FTA certificate of origin in Hubei Province, the enterprise with the certificate of export can enjoy the Serbian tariff concessions of about 27,000 yuan.

It is reported, China - Serbia FTA on 1 July 2024 formally entered into force. Serbia is an important export market of Wuhan Fengfan International Trade Co., Ltd. and the company's export goods are electroplating brightener with total value of 899,000 yuan. ‘We are an enterprise mainly exporting chemical products, the value of goods exported to Serbia in the first half of this year is about 4.85 million yuan. This export goods through the application of China-Serbia FTA under the export certificate of origin, in the entry into Serbia tariffs directly from 3 per cent down to zero, which reduces our costs, enhance product competitiveness as well as further expand exports help a lot.’ Ye Ying, customs manager of Wuhan Fengfan International Trade Co.
Wuhan Customs Tariff Division responsible person said, Wuhan Customs will continue to multi-channel, omni-directional FTA policy propaganda, the development of China-Serbia FTA under the Hubei Trade in Goods Tariff Reduction Opportunity List, while vigorously promoting the certificate of origin of the whole process of electronic, information-based services and other measures for the import and export enterprises in need to carry out the ‘one-to-one’. ‘One-on-one’ personalised guidance is provided to help more Hubei enterprises make good use of the relevant preferential policies and fully enjoy the dividends of the FTA.
