Description
TL104 surfactant series is a multifunctional additive with wetting, defoaming and dispersing properties.TL104 Series are symmetrictype non-ionic surface active agent , its unique twin chemical structure enables the product to lower surface tension, control bubble,reduce the water sensitivity coefficient etc, products can be applied to many industries, such as waterbone industrial coatings,waterborne wood coatings, water-based plastic paint,water-based ink, OP, pressure sensitive adhesive, rubber paint, pigment anddye manufacturing, metal processing industry, flux, pesticide and so on.
Application
Water-based coating
TL-104 series of surfactant can solve many problems such as foam and difficulty to wet surface in coating formulations, especially indynamic conditions to reduce dynamic surface tension, so it can increase wetting of oily or contaminated surfaces in high speedspraying, smearing and dip coating. It can also reduce water sensitivity to improve the water resistance of the coating.At the sametime, it has the function of defoaming and foam suppression, which can reduce oreliminate the usage of traditional defoamer.
Precautions for use
lt is recommended to add emulsion or resin and other surfactant first, and then addTL-104 series surfactant to spread the atmaximum speed into the system, full dispersion takes 15-30 minutes , a small amount of TL-104 surfactant will crystllize whentransported or stored at very low temperatures, and will recover when heated slightly.
