FF-7702 Bright Acid Tin Plating Process
The FF-7702 bright tin plating process is a formaldehyde-free, low-foaming sulfate tin plating solution that produces a bright silver-white ductile tin plating layer. This process is suitable for both barrel and rack plating applications.
Features and Applications
- Special effect antioxidants extend bath service life
- Formaldehyde-free, low-foam tin plating process
- Excellent solderability and uniform plating for electronic applications
- Stable coating performance

Solution Preparation
- Clean the plating tank, filter pump, anode and anode bags with 10% (v/v) sulfuric acid, then wash thoroughly with water
- Add 50% of the required volume of deionized or distilled water to the tank, then add the required amount of sulfuric acid while stirring (take appropriate protective measures when adding sulfuric acid)
- Place several tin bars in the solution, add the required amount of stannous sulfate while stirring, and heat the solution to no more than 50°C until completely dissolved
- Add deionized or distilled water to reach the final volume
- After the plating solution cools to room temperature, add FF-7702A and B while stirring
- For optimal performance, perform a small current electrolysis of 2-3 Ah/L
